Windshield wipers Delay setting.

As you know, the windshield wipers control has a “Delay” position but since few days ago it is working like the fast mode (no delay control at all).

I know there is a wipers control module, but it is an electronic board. Anybody knows what & how to check it?

If it's similar to my '92, there's a small box under the dash kick panel that contains the delay electronics. If so, just swap it out for a junkyard unit and see if that does the trick.

Having been inside the delay unit for both my '92 and the '96-vintage unit that I replaced it with, there's not a heckuva lot inside - just a relay and an IC. The later models are supposed to be different, but I've not seen one of those.
