I am looking for a tank that I can use to air up my tires.

I don't exactly know what I'm looking for here..

If you guys could get me started with brands/bottles and the required equipment needed to make this happen, that would be great.

My setup is as follows:

(1) Full 20lb CO2 cylinder from local welding supply - $80.00
(1) 150psi fixed pressure regulator from 4x4 rock shop - $50.00
(1) 50' colied hose and fittings from Tractor Supply - $20

Total invested for a 20lb CO2 setup - $150.00

When my tank is empty, I can take it back and exchange it for $10.00 for a full one.

That is what I was looking for. Thanks for the info. Can you fill all 4 tires with that 20lb tank? You can also fill it at home when it runs out, right?

Just head to a welding supply in your area and ask to purchase a 20lb CO2 tank full of gas. When it runs out, you exchange it for a full one. It's not like the one for mallcrawlers who want their own shiny, pretty tank. The tanks at the welding supply outift tank will be used. Here are some links to help for the other things you need.

before you run out and spend the money on a co2 setup be shure to look into engine driven oba or electric oba. my experience with co2 tanks is that the lines freeze up when flowing a lot of air (air tools) and you run out. with a guage you can keep track but you do run out. search on google or naxja and you'll find tons of reading on different oba setups

Don't get me wrong, an onboard air system is nice............if you want to spend a minimum of $700.00
this is just not true, maybe if you buy all bolt on stuff brand new. there are many options cheep electric (not my favorite) or engine drive stock saden (A/C delete) or mounting of a york or other compressor.

my A/C no longer worked so i used that. few parts and pieces, prob have under $100 in mine and never have to pay for a fill or run out again.

do some searching many have relocated the batt to the driver side and mounted either a york or another saden compressor below the stock ac;)
