Applying coil spacers on a '98

I'm about to help out a friend BB his '98, and I think his bump stops are pressed on or whatever instead of screwing on like on my MJ. Will we have any problems getting the spacers over the bumpstops?

I had to use a hammer and tap mine up onto the bumpstops. No big deal.
