i just got a bome stock 86 xj.it will run till it goes in to gear then it dies out.WHY??? I NEED SOME HELP WITH THISNAXJA

It could be a NSS problem.

I had a similar prob. turned out to be the catalyctic converter clogged.
Had more power in idle than when I hit the gas.
Auto. or Man. trans?
