The rubber boot at the bottom of the stick is falling apart again and was curious if they are urethane boots or maybe an all steel one like racing cars for the jeep. I did try a search but never found any info I was looking for.

There are tons of boots available out there!Sounds like you dont have the "underside" weather stripping/boot to protect the "interior" boot.

Are you asking about the boot that is under the body, that goes over the hole in the tranny that the shifter sticks out of? If so, try using the CV boot for an import like an older model Nismo Sentra. This works really well on the B/A 10-5 with a couple of hose clamps to make sure that it stays put.

I used an aftermarket shift boot from Autozone. It worked great.
