DPG rear bump stop kit

I have the DPG offroad rear bump stop kit for my '96 Cherokee. The bump stops are metal, zinc I believe. Do I need to worry about these damaging my unibody? Should there be some kind of cushion maybe?

I was just thinking what if I'm going over an bump or trench, etc pretty fast seems like they would hit pretty hard.

Comments?

What happened to your factory bumpstops?

The DPG kit isn't meant to replace your factory rubber. It's meant to provide a raised bumpstop for the factory rubber.

Any body got a pic of the factory rear bump stop? I sure dont remember seening anything rubber above the U bolts...??
