Could I take the pumpkin out of a rear axle and use the tubes and components from a front with the same diameter. Would this work if I used hydraulics to steer it. Also what would i do to keept it straight on the street? Put a pin in the drag link like a monster truck? What axles do you recommend?

What size tires? What kinda wheeling? Of course the standard answers are 60, 14bolt, 9"/TrueHigh9, etc. All with aftermarket 60 outers.

Ps - You sure you want rearstear on a streetable rig?

go hi 9 portal or go home!

not to be a donkey but if your asking these questions your prob not ready to do the swap. search here and priate4x4 for tons of tech on hybrid axles

Wouldnt a hi-9 portal spin the tires the wrong direction? Unless your just talking about flipping a standard 9" 3rd member and not actually buying a Tru Hi 9.
