The 208 from an 80 or newer FSJ J10/20, fullsize Cherokee, or Wagooneer/Grand Wagoneer will bolt right up. It uses the same 23 spline setup. They are a t-case everyone forgets about. The only down side to using it is the loss of low range gearing. The 208 hans a 2.61:1 and the 242 has a 2.72:1. Not a big loss but it is better to mention it than not. They are vaery strong cases, so you don't have to worry about that part.
