Are CJ rims the right bolt pattern, and backspacing for a Renix XJ???

No.

XJs are a 4-1/2" bolt circle. CJs were 5-1/2"

NO! I found this out when I tried to take the wheels and tires off of my EXs cj and put them on my 2000 XJ.... she got me again!
