go in gear!

This morning I tryed to start my jeep. The clutch was really soft so I poped it out of gear and filled the clutch fluid and pumped the clutch until it was solid. When I tried to start it the stick would not go into gear, and the jeep felt like it was still in gear.(jumped when you try to start it.)
how do I fix it?
1994 jeep xj
stock manual tranny

Thanks,
Seth

You need to bleed the clutch master cylinder / slave cylinder.

Sounds like air in the hydraulic clutch to me. Make sure its not leaking anywhere if you have to add fluid on a regular basis.
