Hello all, new to 
, picked up a retired county vehicle 98 xj back in September. I have been chasing a p0740 issue for months. New TPS from mopar, new pigtail for the tps, New brake switch, trans filter, fluid, solenoid. It still will randomly loose the ability to lock up. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But when it is working, forcing a downshift to pass results in the lockup function ceasing until you turn it off for a while. It literally comes and goes. Very frustrating and kills fuel mileage...
Tv cable adjusted as well.
