Engine rebuilder write up - oil pan gasket

Hello, I read an interesting thread and I think it was in this forum. The poster asked an engine rebuilder to document his process. The builder did-so and I read the thread but did not bookmark it. There was an interesting part where he was reinstalling the oil pan and gasket. He made note that gaskets used to come with little "nubbers" and he did not understand why they stopped making them that way. The workaround was to add sealant at two points where the pan/gasket sit next to the rear main bearing caps.

Does anyone know which thread i saw?

Not sure of the thread but the fsm does say to add sealant on the two corners on the rear main side of the pan.

I used rtv on the whole thing and haven't seen a drop of oil, these jeeps like to leak too much for me to risk it.
