Rear cv driveshaft install and adjustment

Hello all. Recently installed my modded transfer case with sye and an xj front driveshaft. I have a 4" lift approximately. I have heard that with the cv shaft, I need to rotate my rear axle a few degrees towards the tcase to properly align the rear ujoint. Is this correct? Thanks.

With that style shaft, your rear pinion angle should be the same as the drive shaft angle. The Double cardan joint should be whatever angle is left.

Basically, your rear axle pinion should point directly at the output yoke on the t-case.

under load.

you probably want it 2-3* below directly in line when parked.
