98 grand rear disk to xj...bolt on?

Technically it is, you just have to grind out the middle of the backing plates a smidge. A die grinder makes pretty quick work of it.

I'll go with the above ^^
I did this mod on a Chrysler 8.25 using ZJ parts. Had to open up the 4 holes in the mounting flange as well as the center where it slips over the tube. Some report not having to open up the 4 holes, I had to.
On a D35, it all bolts right up.

My advice if this goes on a 8.25 is the four bolt holes need to be widen towards the center hole as the bolts are grouped just a hair tighter than a d35

My 8.25 only required opening the center hole, didn't have to mess with the 4 holes, however it did require longer bolts. That's it.

Parking brake cables are a lot simpler than people make it out to be too

If you have a C8.25, KJ Liberty rear disc are plug n pray.
