The is the unit I pulled from my rear end. I have it for sale on ebay. Someone is telling me it's a d35 open carrier?? Clearly I have a 8.25 axle on 00XJ.. and both my tires were always spinning when I lost traction so I have it listed as a lsd posi, trac-lok.. can someone confirm? I don't want to sell a wrong part.

Ok, I looked up the difference and looks like I had an open carrier in there and not a lsd, like I had thought.

A LSD carrier will have a box ish look unlike a open which has a egg shape roundness

This is Not a stock Trac-lok style LSD/Posi. This looks more like a auburn...

That's true. The Trak Loks have regular spiders plus a clutch pack

Then why does my build sheet for my 97' say trac-loc for the factory 8.25? And ya mine has spiders gears showing and has the square carrier and if you look close you can see the clutches

yep.. that's why I changed my reply. They (Chrysler) always seem to throw a surprise in there.

The only LSD I've seen in 8.25's is the one pictured. After I posted, I figured I better qualify my statement with a little research and found that they did put trac-loks in them too.
