I am wondering if the zj drag link is stronger then the xj I have bent the last 2 I have put on I have sleved the stock xj tierod so not to bend it and now this so the 2nd time I bent the drag link I put stock tierod back on so I can drive it any help would be appreciated and hitting stuff hard is out of the equation THANK's:doh:
 
It is the same drag link, its the tie rods that are different.
 
X2... and the V8 ZJ tie rod is the only one that's different, the I6 ZJ tie rod is the same as ours.
 
I think its time you take another tack on this.

Two words for you: SKID PLATE.

84-90 DS1147 Drag Link XJ
91 + UP DS1235 XJ (Same as ZJ drag link)
Tie Rods for 91 up XJ same as ZJ (same part number)

I guess it all depends which year is your XJ
