I just checked it out. Some play better than others. Cool idea. But the quality is nothing near what a dvd player can do. But maybe thats just my basic dsl service and or my basic apple system with no major upgrades for sound... It might be nice for sampling movies I might want to rent.

It's definately not quality films. Most of the quality stuff out there is hard to find, and if it is found by certain people, it gets shut down. 2 weeks ago I found a website offering entire seasons of many popular shows. 18 seasons of the simpsons, weekly updates of the office, scrubs, and ever episode of seinfeld. Last week it just got shut down.

Not legal in any way. While I agree that the RIAA and MPAA are rabid dogs I suggest this thread gets the ax because they're so rabid.
