Reading several threads on brake line extension indicates the '95 YJ lines are good choices, but are they bolt in all the XJ's? I have an '01 with ABS currently, but I am considering getting rid of the ABS when I do my axle swaps.
Go with mid 90's dakota rear and search for GM 3/4 ton truck brake lines for the front. I'm running those and they are 6" longer then stock and bolt right in.
i have been running 95 yj fronts for since 06 and love them. they are more than long enough for 5" of lift. i am also running a 96 dakota rear line and it too is more than enough for me
i had abs when i installed the lines so i went with abs lines. two months latter i got rid of the abs with an 8.25 rear end. i wish i would have gone with the non abs lines as they were a lot cheaper.
the yj and dakota lines are a direct bolt in but longer. it has the same size fitting as our xj's do and work much better than our stock lines with a lift.
