XJ vs. ZJ Track Width & Stretched XJ

Well, after some research...the FZJ80 can run 35's on stock axles on a 3" OME lift plus 20mm of OME spacer. Sliders and good bumpers are a must along with some 4.88's or 5.29's...

Looks like the XJ will be up for sale one of these days before too long :tear: . The 80 is just exactly what I need.

4.88's are perfect for 35's, 37's are 5.29 territory, but 4.88's can get buy.

Someone else posted up the link to Ih8mud.com, one of the best cruiser boards around. Good info, helpful people too. Slee's Offroad are the 80 experts too. He will answer any questions you got.
