I'm not sure how you've got your comp hitting the hood now, but that's beside the point I suppose.

There used to be a company making steel cowl induction hoods for XJ's, they look pretty good but I don;t think they are available any longer unless another member knows the source

Hmm, but may not have the clearance you need where you need it. Oh well it was a thought.

I have this hood on mine it's a reflexxions(steel), and it's not cheap lucky for me I got it for a good deal!

Is that a v6 in a civic?. Ive done b16,b18,h22 swaps and turbos, but never seen the V6 in one. Thats pretty cool!..
