where to put hi lift?

Yes, wing nuts would make it easier, but I just use standard hex nuts. For some reason I just think wing nuts would eventually loosen and it would rattle like mad.

I had a TJ which I mounted my Hi-Lift with wing nuts, never had any problems. If you're worried about it drill a small hole through the bolt and put a pin through there. I had mine outside back then and put a padlock through one bolt so it wouldn't be walking away "on it's own."
