What is the rear most exhaust hanger on an xj?

I have a 99 Cherokee xj. The rear most exhaust hanger fell off. There is a little tab that sticks out and I have been looking around online trying to figure out what attaches to it but I have not found the part or picture. Does anyone know? Is it just a regular c-clamp or is there some type of anti-vibration thing that Bridges the gap?

It's goes right in front of the leaf spring shackle.

I think I have that part. But it seems to tight for the c clamp to reach. If I force it, it keeps popping out.

Is there any extender or the clamp just goes right there?

No.
My thinking is you either need to loosen the clamp to get it on properly and then tighten it up.
Or just cut it off and buy a new clamp.
Cause it looks like the lip on the hanger is still all there.
Sometimes they do rot off though.

If the bracket isn't rusted away, put your jack under the tail pipe and boost it up. When it is in the right place, put on a standard muffler clamp.
