What I need to get done before Winterfest

Build living quarters in this...
e008ede9.jpg

Holy crap! Everyone at Winterfest could sleep in that thing. How long is it?

50 ft. 3-7k axles. Two rigs and about 18 feet of living quarters is the plan.

Truck stops only.

mac 'bring the kitchen sink' gyvr

Finish custom made cnc cut and bent front bumper with jcr tie ins
install RE adj trac bar
install adj upper control arms
instal 4.10s in d30
shave ford 8.8 axle and weld on new mounts
install new frictions in 8.8 trac lok
Install new rotors and calipers on 8.8
install rear extended brack line
trim fenders a bit

A few other odds and ends as time allows...
Jeep is gona be crazy different since last time all you yahoos saw it...

99SJ 'All on a college/student teachers budget' Ex

Finish designs and build on rear bumper
Research Durango Brake Master cylinders and possibly replace XJ one
Fix Passenger Front window (off the track)
TIG exhaust manifold or find replacement

well I've gotten the wiring sorted.

I started on leaf springs today.
so the list:

finish rear springs/shackle mounts
figure out how to mount shocks
cut and replace the rockers
mount belly pan
do front frame stiffeners
change all the fluids. I think it had an oil change in 2010....

hopefully I can get the leaf spring stuff done next weekend.

Left shoulder rotator cuff repair, December 29th. If I can get my sons here may have a ZJ to drive instead of the XJ

As of now, rear hitch (buy and install) and fire putter outter.

Buy a new Jeep, do stuff to it, and show up. This one is getting kind of stale. At this rate I'll have had 3 different ones at 4 different Winterfests.

That's the goal at least... still haven't unloaded my junk from Redbird so I guess technically I'm ready to go, months in advance (for once).

Replace yet another battery mount
Get blower motor working
Oil change
Long arms
SYE
Trailer brake wired up in Meganne's dad's F250
Source a trailer

And maybe a super, secret surprise.

Me too.....

You sold the bus right? Figure out how you're going to tow it there yet?

If you bring the little Jeep there's a chance you'll regret not bringing the buggy, but if you do the opposite you probably won't regret leaving the little Jeep at home.

Unless the weather turns horrible, but I'm guessing you're used to that by now.

Hoisted the spare up in place so I can figure out how I want to make a mount for it, dang, try lifting a 40" mtr on a beadlock rim 55" into the air and laying it on the back of a buggy by yourself. Decided since I am gonna do trail riding this year instead of competing that I should start carrying a few things with me. Think I figured out a way to incorparate a small rack into it also. Also, Brian, you have to bring the buggy, I need you to show me what lines don't work again
