What do you do at work?

i'm in the army.......most days.

actual job is 15T....UH-60 repair. i just have the cool added opportunity to be an aircrewmember....which in short terms around this place means glorified flight attendant. tomorrow i get to go pick up a 4 star general....goodie. i need to make a sign that says "this ride is coin operated"

my job is more fun when i get to go pick up troops and mess with ranger students...at least then the flying is fun.

best part is cranking and banking and hearin the guys in the back hootin and hollerin.

air gunnery and blowing targets apart is fun too

You should put an official looking line at about the 6'6" level on that housing(first pic) with the caption, "You must be at least this tall to ride this ride"

well especially the blowing stuff apart, that sounds like the most enjoyable job I have seen on here yet. how long have you been doing that for?

I work for a refinery (www.FHR.com). Even though we refine all types of fuels, at my location I deal strictly with asphalt. I rebuild pumps, train truck drivers, basically general maintenance, pipe fitting, boiler operator, test asphalt properties, etc. We only have 4 people at my location so we all flow to the work, secretary calls in sick or vacation I answer the phones. I also have a Real Estate Brokers license and sell, buy, flip, a handful of homes, investment properties per year, even this year with home sales down, I did a ton of foreclosure work and some flipping.

I almost joined the Navy, once for ROTC in college and once when I graduated after losing my job during the economic downturn... and sometimes I still wish I had (sometimes = most times). Who knows though.. I guess I cant complain. Right now I do on site failure analysis at one of my companies major customers.. I work for the leading company for enterprise class SSD drives, so yeah, I guess its ok :p
hmmm you're from mass too... what company is that? Dolphin? I'm at Intel over in Hudson.

I have a lame ass job that pays me to ride is stupid jeeps at stupid off road parks just to network, I also have to go to the stupid Off Road trade shows and eat really expensive steak and drink a lot of really good beer. The worst part about that is the company refuses to let me pay for it like my money is no good to them. During my down time they make me sit in a A/C office and talk to people all day about stupid off road stuff, and then troll N.A.X.J.A. for porn. All this while they insist on paying me good money

Oh wait I love my job lol who wouldnt

update website: couple hours a day- http://www.elliotthomes.com/index.html
Let me know what you web designers think. It was quite an extensive build process. Got it done in 3 weeks.

Build email campaings for website- 1-2 hours a day

Conduct web marketing for my company on various sites

Daydream about which woman i'm going to hump tonight- 3hours a day

crusade around naxja- couple hours a day

been a maintainer since dec 00, been flying actively since early 05. almost to my 1000 mark:)

I can't even think "maintenance engineer" without also thinking "Harry Tuttle, heating engineer!"(If you don't get the reference, it means you don't watch enough bad movies.)

Who quotes Brazil? That movie.. I don't smoke enough crack to understand that movie.

Left the fire department to be a hydrologist. Back at the FD again, missed it and hydrology got kinda boring. I do fire, EMS and ocean rescue. When we get bored we take the jet ski out in the surf for "training." Good stuff...

now I'm finally starting a job in the industry I've been working so hard to get into. Next Wednesday I start as a graphic designer for a small advertising company in Garden Grove, CA. Not my dream job but you've gotta start somewhere, right?

Yay Grimm!!

Oh, and I sell construction supplies to contractors and run the register too. So I take guys' money for supplying them with screws. Oh wait, that sounds bad. I ask them if they want their nuts plated, and then take their money. Oh wait... I ask them what size wood they have, and provide the appropriate sized connector. Oh crap, I guess I'm just naughty & get paid for it! :laugh3:
