What did you do to your XJ today

Ripped the fender flare off with my tire, they needed to come off anyways :)

got the lights installed... what a bear... well I guess it took longer cause I built the light bar...

the lights on the bumper are brighter than my headlights... but not as wide of a beam...

the roof is on a lighted switch so I don't run them on the road by mistake

I salvaged a car remote start/alarm relay box and have 3 relays in the system... so no real load in the cab

also I have been having issues with the ignition switch... so now I have a push button start in the dash... still need the key to start it though

Last night I went over the heep with a fine tooth comb in prep for NWFest. Changed all fluids except for the rear diff, which I will do tonight. Installed a new Solid diff cover on the front and a brand new Currie HD steering system.

Drove JEEPFORCEONE from Packwood to Camas (155mi) with no clutch.

It made it home under it's own power, and another trip down for the books! :yelclap:

4th gear is amazing

Our brakes on the truck got hot and sort of failed going down white pass so we had to unload the xj and i drove it all the way down the pass and then we loaded it up again for the road and we were off to home again. But it was pretty scary when all of a sudden my dads like " we have no brakes!" lol kinda funny looking back on it but i got a short rush before we could pull over.

just bought my FAVORITE factory wheels ever to put on the xj
