Thanks for all the helpful and not so helpful but humorous replies. I'll check on some of the ideas. I do have a fire extinguisher just in case. The trans fluid looks and smells right. Maybe I should try burning some of these fluids to find what the smell might be coming from. Its a hard smell to describe burning something. It does smell like maybe a burning oil of sorts.

I'll have a look and smell around the Jeep and see what I can find. Oh and BTW the tires are 31's.
