Does anyone know the best place to tap into the ASD circuit on a 1996 XJ for an alarm to disable it? Right under the steering wheel seems easiest, assuming someone can tell me which wire it is, but that would also be the easiest spot for a thief to defeat it. I’m thinking somewhere in engine bay, but I just don’t know which wire or the best place to access it.
I plan to install a fuel pump kill switch too, but I want the starter disabled when the alarm goes off so it’s harder to load onto a trailer (no putting it in 4lo and cranking it to load it up).
