Tabor winches(I'm too lazy to search for opinions)

Yes, for the money, it works fine.
 
Getting back on topic...

I just compared the parts lists for both the Warn XD9000 and the Tabor 9k. They share a lot of hard parts. The remote, solenoid, fairlead, gaskets, sungear, thrust bearing, and such are the exact same part #'s. The brake, carrier, and motor are different and I' sure those part and the warranty make up a large part in the price difference. The clutch lever from the XD series will swap directly over to the Tabor too(did that this morning). That knob would be a pain if you're wearing gloves or it's wet.
 
Yes they are both made by Warn. The Tabor is actually the old Warn Magnum line of winches.
But here is the big difference.....

Warn..... Lifetime Warranty

Tabor.... 1 Year Warranty
