i got 6 inches of lift and now the swaybar is rubbing on the tie rod attached to the drag link. what can i do to fix this? i was thinking that maybe a drop pitman arm would work?
First and foremost, you want to keep your draglink and trackbar at the same angle and same length. If you go to a dropped pitman arm, you'll introduce some bump steer into your rig.
I cut my sway bar links off, and welded on a set of 2" extended sway bar links. You should be able to get them from JKS Manufacturing (http://www.jksmfg.com.)
pull the swaybar over and use a tube clamb (the metal ones with the regular screwdriver tighten bolt) to hold it from sliding back... i did this 2000 miles ago and no problems since.
