I went against everyone's reccomendation and started the lift project today by myself. Figured everyone was headed to big bear anyway...
So...borrowed a 33gal air compressor and impact wrench and started tearing things apart. After a couple of trips to autozone to "borrow" some tools I managed about 5-6 hours of actual work.
Front end is up on jack stands right now. Steering linkage, shocks, springs and sway bar links are all removed. Right LCA is out but the left forward LCA bolt is stuck. Though I used PB Blaster all week...this one just won't budge. So...I'm going to soak it tonight and spray it again before driving to big bear in the Subaru tomorrow. Hopefully sunday I can remove it and the UCAs and replace the brake lines.
Everything that I have read says..."torque to spec"...has anybody listed the spec numbers? I don't have a haynes or chiltons book.
If I can get the front done by myself than next weekend I can do the back...
Thanks again for everyones advice. See you in Big Bear...I will be the guy driving the Blue Subaru with the hot red head in the passenger seat and the 3yr old in the back watching DVDs.
