Update.
I was able to remove the crossmember studs with no problems in about 30 minutes.
I love that little 10" pipe wrench. I really do.
Changed the drop to 3/4", and put 4* shims in with the fat part facing front.
Also changed the motor and trans mounts for good measure (which actually did change my angles a bit too.
I haven't driven it yet, but I did remeasure.
TC Yoke = 6* down from horizontal.
Rear Pinion = 6* up from horizontal
I would have preferred to have the pinion pointed one more degree down to account for axle wrap, but I think this is going to be the setup that I keep.
Will drive it sometime later this week and post back. Thanks again to all who helped.
