Hi everyone!
I joined this site per someone else's suggestion on another car forum. I'm not a hardcore offroader like most people on this site but do some dirt roads and snow since I'm into mountaineering. We have a modest ML320 for that work.
Now, on to my question. About a week and a half ago, I went snow camping with a friend of mine. Snow levels were supposed to be around 8k with a few inches of snow but instead it dropped to 5k with about 3 feet of snow at 7k! Now, that is where we parked our car. Needless to say, the poor subie is stuck and since the road is not plowed in winter, it would probably be there till spring unless we find a solution to get it out. Now, it sounds like you guys deal with deep snow on a regular basis and may have some suggestions or can maybe offer help (I'm sure my friend would pay you for any help offered). This is what it looked like last Saturday but with some more snow in the forecast, this may only get worse.
What do you guys think/suggest? The subie is awd and has decent clearance (8.9 inches) but obviously can't deal with this much snow!
Thanks!!!!
