You can use any shackle you want, the longer the shackle the more flex you will get.

So if I put a set of these on and put my shackle angle around where it needs to be(45 degree angle correct?) about how much lift would it equal to with the following:

4.5" RC leafs
1.25" shackle
Shackle relocation brackets and shackle set at a good angle

Just trying to make sure my shocks will work if I get these and since my shackles are pointing straight down I think theyll be a great upgrade heh

The longer the shackle you run the more down travel you will get.

Its all 1/4" beef, that saves you a bunch of time were you to try to make them yourself, I am sorry you feel they are overpriced.

Of course, what would you expect from an XJ owner. That's why R & D is so limited for new product, everybody want's stuff for free. You design it and someone else copies it.

This isn't aimed at anyone specifically but is a reality for XJ owners.
