Seat alternative question

I would like to replace the seats in my XJ, they are pretty broke down. What alternatives are available? Will Grand Cherokee seats fit? Are there any good aftermarket options that don't cost more than the vehicle?

I do know GC seats will bolt right in but I do not know if there is a year break down for them. the brackets were exactly the same for mine and a simular year GC.

My Cherokee is a 98 Sport.

WJ and ZJ Grand Cherokee seats (upholstry and frames only) will bolt onto the stock 1995-2001 XJ Cherokee seat slider/floor bracket.

If the Grand seats are power adjustable and want to keep that feature, you will have to make some adapters. There are no plans or drawings for these adapters.
