Just ran into a deal on a set of s-10 rims with 31 10.50s. Owner says that they are 5x4.75, Summit has a adapter that is 1.25 thick, anybody foresee a problem with doing this?
Adapters are 90.00 a pair. Rims would be 60.00 each and then figure in breaking down old set and remount and balance so that would be 180. as compaired to almost 300.00 with balancing.
I was looking at the 4in back spaced rims for 53.00 one you pointed out are 3.75 would that be enough on the front to limit rubbing or would i still benefit from a spacer? dont forget, mount and balance around here is 60.00
yeah, dude its only a quarter of an inch, i don't think that would warrant enough to make a difference. the better question is, will wheel spacers bump it out the right amount?
