Run 265 75r15s on same axle as 31x10.50?

Are 31x10.50a close enough to 265 75r15s to run one on each axle?

There's a cheap 265 here that I want to use as a spare.

Its pretty close yeah. 30.6" tall, which is similar to most 31's.

I probably wouldn't want to do with on the pavement with an auto locker, but outside of that is fine.
