Reversed Roles

I'd vote for Colin Powell or Condi anytime but I will not vote for Obama. For me it has nothing to do with race and everything to with character.

Well I can assure you I don't think less of anyone for expressing their views, or just throwing something out there for us to chew on. In fact I think LESS of people that just go along and will not express their views.

In fact that is why I don't like politicians. You know they seldom, if ever, express their true beliefs.

Thats what I'm getting at. It really comes down to my hate for politicians. They will tell you any shit you want to hear so long as you vote for them. Then they get in office and don't even do half of what they said they would. Money and power is what it all comes down to. And they want more and more. Hell, they don't even run this country!!! Major corporations, big oil, and media do just to name a few. If someone wants some words of wisdom, check out the video America Is Tyranny by George Carlin. That's our country in a nutshell.

Think, think, think,...
Oh ya!

Colin Powell.

Woulda' voted for him.
Wasn't he black or something?

He was too smart to want the job, which is why he should have been drafted into it, thats the president we want. I would have voted for him in a heartbeat.
We need to stop these people who WANT to run for those jobs and DRAFT people in who don't want it but will step and do it when selected.

Once again, I'll say this for the last time, I didn't write this, nor do I support it. I HATE BOTH CANDIDATES EQUALLY. THAT IS WHY I AM NOT VOTING. I DIDN'T EVEN REGISTER TO VOTE. I simply put information out to make people think. This forum is very right-winged biased. I'm putting out an alternative view point.

This forum is that way, because most of us here actually have an education and don't rally behind a rockslide of media BS and email slander. If you do not plan on voting and have no intention, then you have no opinion (one that matters anyway) and should not be posting BS in the effort to incite some kind of liberal shitstorm. All you do is show us your true left winged cowardly agenda. Go back to your regularly scheduled CNN program.

I can't believe someone suggested that a big, fancy college education makes you more qualified to run the country....

Two in history that stand out to me:

George Washington
Abraham Lincoln

never attended any such formal education....

Having a college degree does not make you qualified for anything. It means you put in the time and money to complete requirements set forth by an educational institution.

Oh ya, don't forget:

Einstein
Edison
Orville and Wilbur Wright
Henry Ford
(all high school or prior dropouts)
Gates
Dell
Jobs
(all college dropouts)

Agreed. My father and grandfather are both college dropouts who have run a very successful and profitable business for over 45 years. Thanks for not trying to pin this on me as my view.

As for everyone else...give me your hate, because I always make it a positive. Add more fuel to my fire please:laugh2:

I posted this so I could get some opinions from other people so that I could shut the mouths of my Obama supporting friends. I'M SICK OF HEARING THEIR BULLSHIT. I don't like McCain either. None of these people give a flying f*ck about any of you nor I. I'm exercising my right not to vote because both candidates are on an equal level of SUCK. If Ron Paul had gotten the nomination, you better f*ckin believe I would have voted. That's the man I chose, that's the view I'm sticking with, and since he's not running I'm not voting. If being a Constitutionalist makes me a liberal then so be it.

I made sure to make it vague, i.e., "someone", and not point it at you, because I know you just posted a quote, however, wasn't quite sure who to attribute it to.

I'll be the first to admit I thought Ron Paul was a nutjob at first - but right now, he'd get my vote. My only disagreement with him is his view on what to do about Iraq - but I do see where he's coming from. He's tired of our military being used as the world's police force - which I agree with.

What if McCain was an open socialist?

What if Obama never held a command position because he was too busy getting beat down in POW camp?

I'd rather have a bottom of his class military officer than a top of the class Ivy league grad, and I would rather have a bottom of the barrel capatalist than a socialist.

I would rather have a mouth breathing retard than someone who is pro gun control.

In short I would rather have had Thompson, but with our wonderful system the way it is, things like "momentum" can let Iowa decide who is on the ballot months before the people in Louisiana even get to the polls.

Regarding most prestigious schools, most especially those in the Ivy League...it's not about education; it's about indoctrination. These are the topmost breeding grounds for Socialism and other anti-capitalism, freedom-hating, and irresponsible ideas.

I would've voted for Huckabee, I liked him. Too bad he didn't make it. However, I will still be voting as a means of steering the country at least in the general direction I would like it to go. For me, McCain is a whole hell of a lot closer to my view than Obama. I wouldn't have chosen either, but I'm not gonna wuss out and not vote because my guy didn't make it. I want to have the right to complain if things don't go how I wanted. :D

P.S. The people who cry racist any time anything to with color comes up are the true racists. But then, I'm racist myself so I guess I better shut my mouth...;)

SPOBI!
You're sick of hearing BS? You're 23, that has given you 5 years to register to vote and yet you still have not. How were you going to vote for Paul if you haven't been able to register in FIVE YEARS?
:bs:

I did vote last time...Republican. Technically I am registered but I have no card and am not registered in the proper area. I'm not interested in changing it to vote, but I might change mind.
