Main reason I made a bastard pack using an extra set of XJ springs is because of weight. Putting a set of full size leafs on your XJ would give you a very harsh/rough ride.

Here's what you're looking for:
-2.5" wide springs (to match the XJ's)
-Sprung under (which means more arch, which means more lift)
-Similar length (you can cut to fit, but you want them somewhat close)
-Similar offset (so that the center holes line up)

Other than that... happy hunting! I think it's been proven that the Dakotas, S10s, and Ford vans are the most abundant vehicles that meet the criteria above, but I'm sure there are others that will work.

Any 2.5" wide leaf will work. If they are too long you can always cut them to lenght. Keep in mind some 2.5" wide leafs are thicker and will add more lift but will make it ride stiffer. 1" thick over load spring spaced under the stock XJ pack with and extra smallest leaf will give 1" of lift and will cradle the leafs right before the jeep bottoms out. I really like that set up.
