Well after three nights of grinding out crappy welds and trying every method I have come to the conclusion that my welder just doesn't have the balls to weld up my axle tubes. So I decided to tack together my new axle mounts.
140 Ferrari welder max 34v 65a. I got them burned in im going to do my measuring and tack them in place and burn them on the axle and the tubes at a friends house
After spending a month in erics garrage my axle is back home all welded up with a coat of rustolium satin I am very happy with how it turned out pics in the am
its coming snapped a couple pics if the front end sorry I just noticed taht you get to see my finger in some of the pictures.
Then i decided that I am tired of the front end being "basically" done and finished the last few things. turned out that my tranny mount has been on backwards. I flipped it around and now everything lines up perfectly. I got the shocks mounted and brake lines zip tied in place... ish put fluid in my front diff. Then I locked the hubs and took it for a short spin in front wheel drive. all of my crazy noises in the front are gone!!!!!
