yawn, no CRD XK, no care.

let me know when your ready to buy a XK.

I agree, the EURO 3.0 CRD swap into the XK would be much more exciting. That day will come.............

We’re in the process of fine tuning everything, but she’s nearly done. I still need to finalize the measurements for the custom driveshaft. I live about 45 miles from the nearest alignment shop, so I’ll have to trailer the XJ in for the final touches. Anyway, here are a few pics of the XJ setting at my buddies shop.

That’s a good question. I’m running a 30X9.50R15 due to stock gearing. The plan is to bump up to a 31.5 tire when I do regear. I don’t know if I should buy new axles or just upgrade the ones that I have. I like the idea of buying new axles with the gears and ARB lockers already installed. So we’ll see………

you dont need new axle shafts. grind the ears on your shafts for full circle clips. you'll then be good for 33s

Here's what the Jeep looked like before I started taking off decals and replacing the OE bumpers.

I decided to take off the OE 4.0 Litre decal.

I used the wife’s hairdryer and dental floss. The hardest part was getting all the sticky residue off. Goo Gone did the trick. 15 minutes later, I had the decal off and all the sticky stuff removed.

We decided that the turquoise New Mexico plate looked better on black.
