Mine had 5 when I bought it, they all looked the same, thickness, shape of ends and friction pads. But I don't know any history if they had been worked with. I bought a new spring pack recently, I told the spring shop mine had 5 leaves... all their records showed that the only packs they had for Jeep Cherokees had 4 leaves.
FYI now both have 6 leaves.
