need some uhmw

I'm looking for the best place to buy sheets of uhmw. I build a solid belly pan and cover my boat sides on the mj and would like to cover it all in 1/2" uhmw. local would be good or cheap/free shipping.

There are a few places that have UHMW or HHDS but most are distributors and want to sell to businesses and not a single sheet. I got mine from distributor in Worcester that let me pick it up. I honestly can't recall the name but hopefully that gives you a start.

Laminated plastics in Billerica will definitely let you pick it up and buy one sheet. They'll also cut it to size if you need it. If you don't need a full sheet make sure to ask if they have any left over cut pieces.

I get my plastic from a plywood supplier. They offer sheets to make outdoor cabinets and stuff, just named differently. The specs are near identical. Hell, I have the crappy honeycomb version and it is still taking hits
