That is cool, I remember a company down in NJ that built a 50 something Ford F100 or 150 with a pretty big onboard air compressor that was belt driven and a 25 gallon air tank mounted alongside the frame under the bed. They just put air zerks front and rear and had a 50ft hose coiled up. They used the truck for roadside service.
I don't want to turn this into a "folding XJ" thread but I really don’t think that cutting that hole so the hose can exit the fender is going to cause my jeep fold up. A lot of people just cut that area out and fold the quarter panel up anyways. Besides I have some nicely painted pot metal (roller fairlead) screwed into that area, I think that'll hold'er.
