Driveable. Now to readjust steering set castor and finish it. Im really impressed with the iron rock kit.
Everything bolted together well when following the directions.

Yes front lower control arm brackets are removed rears will get removed. Rear lower links are 39" front are 36" . Uppers are shorter on both. About 70% of lowers.

Ride is night and day better even with junk trail tammer shocks.

Its the 4" rock link. With 285 70 17 jeep take offs. Have some minor fender adjustments to do.

Shicks are 10.5ish stroke.

Scott bought it a month ago after driving my coilovers. Scott's a friend of 15+ years. This wj is being set up the way id do it of i had money.
Scott likes my sliders and I agree they help a niceish rig turn into a trail rig that an shrug of impacts on the trail.

Long arms, sliders, gears, lockers, tuned shocks, possibly tube fenders (id rather not) ditch the tcase though quadratac does appear to work.

Street friendly put the hammer down and go fast rig.

Thanks. Im proud of it.

We spent a couple weeks searching for this rig to build. We looked at lots of chunk xj zj and wjs for sale. This one seemed solid with minimal rust but after tearing into it alittle more rust found then innately thought. But itl work.
It already had the bumpers, needs winch and recovery gear now

Exhaust plenty to do my jeep and have extra. I picked this small muffler on purpose should just clear ahead of the trans crossmember were the down pipe goes horizontal. I might see if itl fit in the vertical down pipe and clear driveline but I doubt it. Maybe right off the header

I've never ran a muffler that far forward but from my experience the further forward the better for killing drone and noise

Its a spintech 6000 2.5"

Came out clean man nice work!
Looks like you couldn't fit the muffler before the xmember, or did you? Think that's a tough task.
How does she sound?
I'm not to worried about my exhaust, but damn a non crushed DP looks niiiiiice!

Thanks shorter.

I dont have a gasket yet. Still buttoning things up. Hoping gasket comes today but expecting it will get here tomorrow.

Its under 2coats of paint now will make a egr block off plate and plug fir big egr tube. Then maybe put it all together someday.

Hope it sounds good but not to loud. No exhaust tick is what im after.

So its going together finally got a gasket.
So I found out renix intake has to be clearanced to live with ho header.
I also removed a broken manifold bolt someone broke before me. Its been bugging me so I just said screw im getn it done.
Ended up eating the bolt out with a carbide burr then a tap junked up what was left. Threads are alittle loose but bolt anchored down well

She probly won't run tonight. Im tired and not looking forward to fishing the rest of the bolts in. Wondering about studs like rcp did but cheap ones.

Also cut off the uneeded off throttle bracket. Like cruise control and junk.

Getting closer

So spintech 6000 is in the wj now and sounds amazing not to loud but let's you know who's boss when you stick your foot through it.

The spintech 6000 on my jeep was embarrassing to drive around the block loud idle and high pitched sounds the riser crowed loves.

En route is a spinteck 5000 this muffler is 10" longer and 2.5" wider. 8.5x22.

I have not figured out the little six it just loud with a good flowing exhaust is loud with poor sound quality.

So far stock style muffler sounds best. I havent tried straight pipe was thinking I might while waiting on muffler again.

Fingers crossed the second attempt at the spintech goes better.

While I wait I fabbed a no flow through tech muffler.

Still out but drive able

It's his newest design of "mechanical rev limiters".

Lol yeah and burn time.

Its a dummy muffler maybe for dummy me.
Bought all its good for was burn time with the welder and knock sound down for today's trail run. Just a kinda cause thing

Muffler I orderd gets here Wednesday

It actually worked to quite the beast alittle but I think is choking here at 2500rpm and above. At 2500 it gets a weird air pump sound and seems run out of steam but still pulls fith at 3000rpm on the freeway. Seems to take longer getting to 3000.

Few pics from our night run.
