OK, wasnt going to post anything of my rig. But here goes nothing.
Rear springs were flipped, and Front was stretched to give it a 110 inch wheelbase. I know this is "wrong" to do without a traction bar. Im ok with that Im saving for air shocks. Front control arms are still mounted in stock location on the frame, but with the stretch the arms are approx 21 inches. Mid arm setup I suppose. All Joints are Tractor Supply Heims. I am fully aware that they are "wrong" to use.
Steering is full hydro, running off the stock pump, but i need to increase the reservoir. It works now, just overheats a little. Tractor supply ram and everything was bought used.
Suspension is an old 3 inch lift kit that is now more like 1 inch lift, a set of Coil spacers, and longer shackles. Again, not exactly the right way to lift a truck.
Front axle is HP 44. welded. Rear is 9". again, welded. Not right, but works. Gears are 4.10, and Im working on getting a Box for rocks kit with 231/231 combo, simply because i have an extra case.
Stock gas tank is inside the jeep. I put it farther inside so i could see better out the back of the jeep.
I cut and doved the rear, I know I Will get smushed if i roll this jeep. I assure you it will get a full cage before its next trip. I also narrowed the hood and inner fenders to make room for the stretch.
Tires are bias Iroks 37x14x15 on beadlock wheels.
I made this rig to be a low slung, wide, very stable rig. and so far. It works fairly well. For the money I have in it. It is VERY capable. Only been out twice with this setup. So far I plan on Drive Flanges for the front because i broke a hub. Always building and going, and always fun.
