I'm about there for all the stupid ways it's sent me this summer.

The positive is that the wife is tired enough of me yelling and cussing at the thing that she is learning to read a map finally.

I always keep a road atlas in my travel vehicle.

Google Maps on the computer = pretty decent.

Google Maps on the phone = never knows what I'm looking for, sometimes bearable directions.

Apple Maps = ...

Garmin GPS = needs frequent updates, OK on easy trips, confusing on "odd" trips (like the ones where you need GPS)

Maybe a list of road names / distances and watching the tripometer is a better way to roll. I'm not as adventurous as you though which helps

3 or 4 weeks ago I was wrenching on the jeep. I had to remove the center console, so I needed to switch in and out of gear.
Today I went out to attempt to finish the project.


I noticed that the drivers window was down and keys in the ignition. Soooooo I guess I did that...
I also guess no one in my neighborhood wants my jeep, even if I make it as easy as possible for them.

Side note 2 yes 2 of those 3 weekends I was out of town. Fml I'm pretty lucky.

worked on the jeep last night, nothing but a couple of busted fingers to show for it.

those of you that swapped to the novak cable, how the hell do it get that top transfer case nut off thats holding the OE bracket on?
i cant get that sonbitch to break. used about a can of PB already and not sure i could even get a torch up there.

just use a closed 9/16 wrench? i dont think its the power of the nut. i think its likely the wrench hitting the bracket and not moving.
