American racing 15" black steel rims
31" MT savero tires
Cb radio with 4' Fire stick
Swapped out my diffs and put some from a 4cly XJ under with 4.10s

oops - forgot spare rear axle shaft and spare third member - 60

$6300...

$5000 for the Jeep

ran flawlessly for 2 years, in the last year another $5500 spent:

Radiator, waterpump, thermostat, (done at the dealer- man was that a mistake.)

new seals and bearings both axles.

shocks, steering damper

Tires, alignment.

many other small parts

-

and I'm still totally stock, though I have nicer tires.

I see another $5000 in the next two years to get it running like new, probably an engine rebuild/stroker sometime soon, then I'll start on body armor, followed by lift, tires, new axles, etc.

things should get cheaper as I learn to do things myself.

good luck with yours.

I stopped counting years ago when I realised that the money I had put into it would otherwise had bought some real estate as an investment for my retirement.

Because of the XJ, I had to give up math.
