What all do you need to do to yank a renix and replace it with an ho

Pretty much a donor car, you need all the electronics, it is a lot of work for not that much gain

You can run a ho motor with remix electronics

Did you fully convert it, or did you use the renix stuff?

Rolled my 96, bought an 87 body, swapped it in one piece at a time.

Buy a box of sandwich bags, some blue tape, a sharpie and a notebook. Not that bad, just time consuming.

I'm looking to get an 88 comanche, and the plan is to build a Stroker for it, but i want to start with an obd1 ho motor

Why not look for a 91 MJ?

Lol not a whole lot to choose from around here and the88 is clean, won't change the motor for a while gotta build one first, just wondering how much of a pain it will be to swap. Don't spouse you know where i can find a 91?

i've only seen one or two HO MJs for sale around here in my whole life.

Same here, Exxon Valdez has one, but i couldn't use it for a dd.

Hoping to pull the h.o. out of my 91 YJ and replace it with a V8. That will then be use in my 90 renix XJ. Question is, do I have to swap intakes or will the throttle bodies swap over too?
