gas mileage

you guys are lucky i only get about 12 or 15 most of the time on the paved road and if i get off and into the snow it gets about 2 what can i do to fix that???

haven't checked the mileage yet, and i have 31x10.5's BFG AT's, stock gears, and a 3" lift. I haven't changed the speedo gear, but i used my GPS to check it and the speedometer is about 2mph slower than actual. So, if i hold it about 55 indicated, im ok.
