Here are some of the old Jeeps I bought, build and wheeled..
Bought this one off of AutoTrader from a guy in Minnesota and tookt he wife for a raod trip to pick it up, completely stock at the time-

that lasted about 6 weeks before I pulled it out of my garage and it ended up like this-

you might see that one in Denver area, sold it to a guy up that way.

another one was a Wrangler I bought new in Albuquerque at Casa on the Westside and made pretty sweet. It looked like this after the first month-

and about two months later-

that vehicle is now in Alaska where I sold it before I moved back down to the lower 48.

can't find the rest of my Jeep albums, they are on a thumb drive somewhere, but I did find a few of my baby... This was the Original Dino's 99XJ, most old forum guys will remember all of the build threads and pictures of this rig, I wheeled it in about 10 different states and attend events all the time. I bought her in Oct 98' in Anchorage Alaska where I was at the time stationed and started on it right away. I had a vision of what I wanted to do to it instantly but money always got in the way as a military guy so I pieced it together over about 2 1/2 years. This was after the very first lift and set-up on it -

that only lasted about two months before I felt like a lowrider at events so I went to work on her and ended up about 10k into it but had what I wanted (yes, I kick myself every day for selling her). It had an 8" custom lift and subframe, added a 8.8 rear, 4.88's and locked f/r, chopped a little here and there, 35" MT'Rs where the tire of choice, and tons more of course. I wheeled it like a custom rock buggy and never broke more than a tie rod and one sidewall puncture. Ended up parting out the suspension and drivetrain to a guy in Texas somewhere.. sad sad thoughts.. I have some amazing wheeling videos I will eventually upload and get links to for everyone. But here she was, the compnay listed on there was my old Off-Road co. - Denali Off-Road, no longer have that company, I closed it in 2006.

the XJ I just bought is supposed to be my replacement girl, same year and Limited edition, mine had 39k when I got rid of it and this one is much higher at 152k, but love that I-6 and the interior leather is black instead of tan which I hate but it is not worth $1500 for tan leather seats.. I am doing this one with only a 3 1/2" RC for now on 31.8" 2013 Rubi wheels/tires and once I have got bored or tired of being tiny I think I will go about 1.25" higher, cut it up, add the gears and lockers and 35"s and be a real offroad machine.. figured about a year before that happens.. Until then..

More pics of the current one soon, it should be ready to pull out of the garage later this week and ready to wheel!
